There are many viewpoints on how cellular agriculture technologies can benefit or hinder sustainable food system transformations.

Moderated by Annisa Chand, Senior Editor Nature Food, our panel of distinguished experts from our new focus issue consider cellular agriculture from perspectives of sustainable food systems. The webinar will consider issues of environmental sustainability, food justice, corporate power, potential for greenwashing, virtue ethics, scaling for impact, and will examine the tensions and opportunities for the field in contemporary food systems dialogue.

Nature Food publishes commentary and research on food production, processing, distribution and consumption that relates to food security and sustainable food systems. Launched in January 2020, it is a transformative journal from the Nature Research Portfolio. To learn more about Nature Food, please visit the journal at nature.com/natfood .
